The wooden lid fits snugly and really helps keep my tea warm while I sip slowly. It's great being able to watch the color of the infusion through the clear glass without worrying about burning my fingers.

I love how the heat-resistant glass lets me watch the tea steep while the lid keeps it perfectly warm. The silicone lining on the wooden top seals nicely without any rattling.

The wooden lid with the silicone rim actually seals well enough that my tea stays warm for a good twenty minutes. I mostly drink green tea and it's nice being able to watch the color steep through the glass instead of guessing.
