The juniper berry and pepperwood give this a surprisingly crisp, smoky start that settles into a warm, woody vanilla. I've been getting compliments on the dry-down all day.

The bitter orange and lemon open brighter than I expected for something this woody, then the guaiac and oak settle in for hours. I've worn it to dinner three times now and the vanilla absolute keeps it from ever going sharp. Genuinely one of the most balanced resinous scents I've owned.

The juniper and pepperwood give it a sharp, almost gin-like opening that I liked, but the dry-down turns sweeter than I expected from the vanilla and amber. It wears close to the skin after a couple hours, so I'm reapplying more than I'd like for the price.
