The Rolling Stones, Keith Richards, 1979

That 1979 shot of Keith has an almost gritty, honest feel to it that you don’t see in most rock photos. The print quality really brings out the texture in his jacket and hair.

The way Lynn Goldsmith captured Keith’s expression here is pure 1979 — you can almost hear the amp hum. The print quality does justice to the original grain, and it’s already the centerpiece of my music room wall.

The grain and shadow in this print are incredible—you can practically feel the smoke in the room. It’s framed beautifully, and the 1979 vibe comes through exactly as I hoped when I saw the photo online.
