You can almost feel the sweat and feedback in this room just by looking at the grain and shadow — it’s like being packed into that tiny club in ’77. The way Tannenbaum caught Byrne mid-gesture feels so unposed and alive. Already ordered a frame for it.

The grain in the Allan Tannenbaum print perfectly captures that sweaty, small-club atmosphere. Seeing Byrne’s angular stance frozen in time brings back the whole CBGB-era vibe.

I hung this in my living room and it's like having a front-row seat to that legendary 1977 gig—the grain of Allan Tannenbaum's black-and-white photography makes every detail feel alive.
