I was worried the modern upholstery would lose the cozy feel of the original, but it's somehow even softer to sink into. The curved wings wrap around you just enough for reading without blocking the room. Two months in and it's still my favorite corner of the house.

The high back and wide seat actually let me tuck my legs up sideways, which I didn't expect from a chair this shape. The textile has a nice tight weave that doesn't pill, even with my dog claiming it most afternoons.

I sink into this chair every night after work and the generous proportions mean I can actually curl up sideways with a book. The textile has held up well after two months of daily use, no pilling at all.
