Tina Turner, Los Angeles, 1969

I’ve had my eye on this Tina Turner shot for a while—the platinum and silver gelatin option really makes the blacks pop. The archival materials give me confidence it’ll last, and the energy from that 1969 Stones show is captured perfectly.

The archival printing is flawless—every bead of sweat and strand of hair in her 1969 performance feels razor-sharp. It’s the kind of photo that makes you stop and stare, like you’re hearing the crowd roar again.

The platinum and silver gelatin print option really makes her expression in this 1969 shot pop. Framed it in my music room, and the archival quality gives me confidence it’ll last. Only wish the image were a touch larger for the price.
