The freestanding base is what sold me — no drilling, no wall anchors, just set it next to the sink. The matte finish looks way pricier than what I paid, and the roll actually spins smoothly instead of catching.

The weight of this thing surprised me, it doesn't tip over when you pull a sheet. Simple birch look fits the bathroom way better than the chrome one I had before.

The freestanding design means I didn’t have to drill a single hole in my rental’s tile, which was a huge relief. It’s surprisingly sturdy and the brushed metal finish catches the light nicely, making the whole bathroom feel a bit more polished for under seventy-five bucks.
