The way the moonlight catches the architectural lines behind Tom Petty makes this feel like a moment frozen in time. Joel Bernstein really captured something special with this shot.

The moon in this photo really stands out — it’s so crisp and bright against the night sky that it feels almost surreal. Joel Bernstein captured a relaxed side of Tom Petty here that I hadn’t seen before. The print quality is excellent, with deep blacks and fine detail in the architectural lines.

The black-and-white grain gives this shot a real 70s documentary feel, and Bernstein caught Tom in a relaxed moment that feels candid rather than posed. I wish the print came with a bit more info about the original negative, but the composition under that moon is striking.
