The saffron and chocolate combo is surprisingly smooth, not cloying at all. Lasts a solid six hours on my skin, which is great for a resinous scent. Really glad I took a chance on this one.

The resinous cedar and sandalwood drydown feels like a warm, polished wood panel that lingers for hours, and that spicy carnation keeps it interesting without going heavy. I’ve worn it through a chilly evening and it held up beautifully—exactly the classic, rich feel I was after.

The saffron and chocolate opening is unlike anything else in my collection—it’s rich without being heavy, and the drydown on cedar and sandalwood lasts well past dinner. I keep catching whiffs of the tobacco and leather hours later, and it somehow feels both cozy and bold.
