Unicoi Outfitters, GA

The waders I bought here have held up great through three full days on the Hooch—the reinforced knees are a lifesaver on those rocky banks. The staff actually knew their stuff when I asked about local hatch patterns.

The shop’s fly fishing selection is spot-on, and the staff clearly knows the local waters—they set me up with exactly the right gear for the Chattahoochee. Being Orvis-endorsed gave me confidence, and the whole experience felt personal and professional. I’ll definitely be back.

Booking a guided trip through them was easy, and the Orvis-endorsed gear they stocked had a solid variety from rods to waders. The only small letdown was the shop’s hours being a bit limited on weekdays, but the staff’s advice made up for it.
