Van Halen, Eddie Van Halen, 1979

The shot of Eddie mid-1979 captures that raw energy perfectly, and the print quality really brings out the intensity in his eyes. I've hung it in my living room and it's already the first thing people notice when they walk in. Lynn Goldsmith knew exactly how to freeze that moment in time.

Finally had the space to frame this properly. Lynn Goldsmith's 1979 shot of Eddie captures his raw energy perfectly, and the gallery-grade paper makes the details in the woodgrain of his guitar pop.

The grain on the photo paper gives it a really authentic vintage feel, almost like a concert poster from back then. I only wish the frame options were a bit wider for this size.
