Van Halen, Eddie Van Halen, 1979

The print quality really captures the grit of that 1979 era—you can almost hear the amp hum through the photo. Lynn Goldsmith’s eye for detail is on full display here, and it’s become the centerpiece of my music room.

This shot of Eddie mid-energy in '79 is pure magic, and the print quality from the gallery really captures the grit of Lynn Goldsmith's original. The paper has a nice archival weight to it, so it feels like a proper piece of music history hanging on my wall.

The grain and contrast in Lynn Goldsmith's shot really capture that raw 1979 energy—you can almost hear the guitar through the print. Framed it in my office and it's already the first thing guests comment on.
