Veritas PM-V11 Bench Chisels

These chisels came out of the box scary sharp, and the torrefied maple handles feel really solid and balanced in hand. I've been chopping dovetails and the edge is holding up noticeably better than my old A2 set.

I've been paring mortises all week and the edge on these is still slicing end grain cleanly, which I never got more than a day out of with my old A2 set. The steel really does hold up about twice as long between sharpening sessions.

The torrefied maple handles feel warm and grippy compared to the plastic ones I've used for years. I've been chopping mortises in white oak all week and only touched up the edge once.
