Vernon National Shooting Preserve, NY

Drove up from the casino for a quick round and the location couldn’t be more convenient—fifteen minutes flat, and the scenic drive through central New York is a nice bonus. The whole setup felt well-organized from check-in to the range.

Drove up from the Turning Stone area and it took about 15 minutes, just like the description says. The whole setup felt well-run and the scenery along the way made the short trip even better.

The clay targets here fly true and the layout offers a good variety of stations. Only gave it four stars because the rental guns could use a better cleaning, but the scenery alone made the drive from the resort worth it.
