Vino tinto Finca Malaveïna D.O. Empordà 紅酒

The first glass opened up beautifully after a few minutes in the glass, and the finish lingered just the way I like it. You can tell the grapes were handled with care — the body is round but not heavy. That new Perelada winery they built clearly knows what it's doing.

Cork came out clean and the pour was a deep ruby that looked almost black in the glass. The winery's new building in Perelada is by RCR, and you can taste the care that went into the whole project.

Finally got to taste the 2022 from the new Perelada winery, and the architecture hype is real—the wine feels just as carefully built. It’s got that fresh, mineral edge you’d expect from Empordà, but with a roundness that makes it dangerously easy to finish a bottle.
