I've had these sprinklers installed for a few weeks now, and the gear-drive rotation is smooth and consistent even at lower water pressure. The low precipitation rate really does cut down on runoff, which was a problem with my old ones.

The 4-inch pop-up riser clears my tall fescue easily, and the gear drive is whisper-quiet compared to my old impact heads. Watering the full 35-foot spacing means I've cut my station count down, and the low precipitation rate has kept the soil from turning to mud.

I replaced my old spray heads with these gear-drive rotors and the low precipitation rate really makes a difference—no more puddling even on my sloped lawn. The reach between heads is consistent at the 35-foot spacing I needed.
