My old hatchet handle was looking grey and thirsty, and after two coats of this oil it's back to a rich, warm wood tone with a smooth feel that isn't sticky. The protection from rain and general yard work has held up nicely through a few weeks of use.

I applied this to a dry birch handle and it soaked right in without leaving any sticky residue. The wood looks refreshed and feels smooth to the touch now.

My hickory handle was looking gray and dried out after a season of splitting, but two coats of this brought the grain right back to life. It soaks in fast and doesn't leave that greasy film some oils do. The wood feels smoother and has held up fine through a few rainy weekends.
