Waylon Jennings, Nashville, TN, 1970

The grain in this print is perfect for the era, and the way his quiet confidence comes through in the black-and-white tone is exactly what I hoped for when hunting down a 1970s outlaw portrait. It’s now the focal point in my music room.

The way they captured the casual defiance in his expression and that classic outlaw stance is spot-on—exactly the vibe you'd hope for from a 1970 Nashville shot. It feels like a real moment, not a staged pose.

The grain in the photo really captures that gritty outlaw vibe, and the matte finish keeps it from being too glossy. It’s the perfect size for a living room focal point.
