沙丘總有某種特質讓我特別著迷。那感性的坡度和紋理呈現出一種柔和的風吹外觀——儘管實際上，很少有比這更嚴酷的地方。我在六月初搜尋沙丘，尋找「那張照片」。日出和日落時分，只有大約兩個三十分鐘的窗口可以利用。因此，找到一個絕佳的地點並善用當天給予的時間非常重要。在一天的大部分時間裡，沙丘缺乏特色，但當太陽隱沒，陰影開始沿著沙浪填滿時，那真是一場壯觀的演出。徒步到這道山脊，小心不打擾沙面，我架好相機，跪下，按下快門。身處沙漠，與世隔絕——捕捉這片荒蕪的景觀，既令人振奮，也充滿靈性。
The texture on these dune prints is unreal, you can almost feel the wind carving those soft ridges. Hung it above my desk and catch myself staring at the slopes instead of working. Death Valley really was the perfect subject for this.
The way the light catches the windblown ridges and soft slopes is exactly what I remember from the real dunes. I keep it on my desk and catch new textures in it every time the afternoon sun shifts. Quietly one of my favorite pieces.
