小野洋子與約翰·藍儂，達科他公寓，紐約市，1980年11月21日

The lighting in this Tannenbaum shot perfectly captures the quiet, knowing connection between them that day. It's a moment frozen just a few weeks before everything changed. I find myself staring at the subtle details in their expressions each time I walk past it.

The date on the corner—November 21, 1980—haunts me every time I look at it, knowing they only had weeks left together. Tannenbaum's shot outside the Dakota captures them mid-laugh, so candid and alive it feels like you're standing ten feet away in that cold New York air.

The print quality on this photo is incredible—the deep blacks and silver tones really bring out the texture of their coats. It looks even more intimate and raw than I expected from the online preview, like you're standing right there on the sidewalk.
