V květnu roku 1956 Marilyn, Milton a jeho žena Amy vyrazili do sídla Sydneyho Guilaroffa. Byl to přední kadeřník v MGM a nebyla hvězda, která by neprošla jeho rukama. Toho dne bylo úkolem vyzkoušet různé hairstyle. Tato série získala své jméno, protože Milton jednu z fotografií z tohoto focení tiskl jako 6×8 oválnou vinjetu, která vypadala jako staromódní maturitní fotografie. Marilyn ji nazvala "středoškolskou fotografií, kterou nikdy neměla".

The black-and-white print really captures that relaxed, candid moment between takes—you can almost feel the California sun. I only wish the description on the page was a bit longer to give more context about the scene. Still, it’s a gorgeous piece for any classic film fan’s wall.
