The sound dampening actually works — my kitchen echo is way less harsh now when the dishwasher's running. The print quality is sharp enough that guests assume it's just art, which is exactly what I wanted.
The floral design is so subtle and elegant that it actually makes our open kitchen feel calmer, not just quieter. Since I mounted it near the dining nook, the clatter of plates and the echo from the stone countertop have noticeably softened.
The panel went up in our kitchen in about ten minutes and instantly toned down the echo from the tile floor. The flower design looks like a piece of art, not a soundproofing tool, and it's held up perfectly against steam and cooking splatters.
