Woven Check - Copper on esillä Paper Collective -brändin ensimmäisessä kudottujen taideteosten kokoelmassa, jonka on suunnitellut A+N Studio. Viitaten studion syvälliseen tietämykseen jacquard-kudontatekniikoista ja valmistettu yhteistyössä hollantilaisen WEEEF-gallerian kanssa, sommitelma leikittelee tekstuurilla ja kolmiulotteisuudella kuparin ja ruskean sävyjen kautta. Jokainen taideteos on valmistettu rajoitettuna 200 kappaleen painoksena, käsin numeroitu ja asennettu valkoiselle taustalevylle. The metallic copper thread shifts from bright to almost bronze depending on the light, which I wasn't expecting from a woven piece. Hung it above the sofa and it reads like a small textile sculpture rather than a print. Genuinely happy with how it warms up the wall.

The jacquard weave gives the copper a subtle texture you only notice up close, which makes it feel way more considered than a standard print. Hung it above the sofa and the warm metallic tone pulls the whole corner together.
