The matte 18/10 stainless steel gives these pieces a nice weight that feels sturdy without being clunky, and the faux tortoise pattern really pops against white plates. They’ve held up beautifully through daily use and the dishwasher so far, no fading or scratching.
I was worried faux tortoise would look cheap in person, but the pattern has real depth and the 18/10 stainless has a nice weight in hand. Been using them daily for a month and no scratches or fading so far.
The matte finish on these forks feels nice and they're heavier than my old set, which I like. But the faux tortoise color looks shinier in person than in the photos, almost plastic-y up close. Fine for everyday use, just not quite the vintage look I was after.
