I was worried the camphor would make this smell medicinal, but it just adds a cool edge that keeps the dark chocolate and whiskey from turning syrupy. Wears close for the first hour, then that civet and dried fruit warmth comes through and it lasts the rest of the day on my sweater.

The blood orange on top is bracing and almost bitter, then it melts into dark chocolate and a whisper of whiskey that lingers all evening. It's a weird, gothic scent and I mean that as the highest compliment. Wore it to dinner and got asked what I had on twice.

The blood orange note really cuts through the richness of the dark chocolate and whiskey, keeping it from being too heavy. I wish the vanilla stuck around a bit longer on my skin, but the overall drydown is still very pleasant.
