I was a tour photographer for a band called The Dead Daisies when they booked The Uproar Festival for summer 2013. One of the headliners was Jane’s Addiction and was excited to have some opportunities to shoot them during the six week tour. I love the roughness and intimacy of their shows and absolutely love capturing that.

Finally framed it above my desk and the photographer’s access really comes through—you can feel the backstage energy in Navarro’s stance. The print quality holds up close, sharp details even in the shadows, and it’s a solid conversation piece for anyone who caught that tour.

This print captures Dave Navarro in a raw, candid moment from that 2013 Dallas show, exactly how I remember the energy on stage. The black-and-white finish gives it a timeless feel, and the detail in his guitar work is sharp. I’ve already hung it in my music room—it’s a perfect conversation starter.
