Edie Sedgwick moved to New York City from California to become a model in the early 1960s. In 1965, she met Andy Warhol and quickly became his muse and the "It" Factory girl, appearing in many of his films including Vinyl, Poor Little Rich Girl and Chelsea Girls.

She came from a wealthy but very troubled family, and when her father cut her off financially, she sadly became more reckless with drug use and died of an overdose at the age of 28.

Stella ★★★★★

The contrast of her dark eyes against that silver background really captures the Warhol era's energy. This print feels like a direct window into 1966 New York, not just a generic photo.

Zoe ★★★★★

She's got that exact mid-1960s Factory energy in her eyes, and the print captures the film grain beautifully. I've stared at it every day since it arrived, and it still feels like a tiny time capsule of New York.

Adam V. ★★★★★

The contrast in this print is stunning—her expression really captures that raw Factory-era energy. It’s framed perfectly and arrived fast, and I’ve already got it hanging where I see it every day.
