The contrast on this print really pulls you right into that June 1974 field, the crowd's energy almost tangible behind the band. Framing it was the first thing I did when it arrived, and the black-and-white tones make it feel like a true piece of history.

The grain in this Herb Kossover print is gorgeous, and the black-and-white really brings out the raw energy of that 1974 fairgrounds show. I’ve stared at the crowd’s blur in the foreground for ages—feels like you’re right there in the dust.

The grain and contrast in this Herb Kossover shot really pull you right into that 1974 Iowa crowd. It’s a raw, honest slice of the Dead’s summer tour, and the black-and-white makes the whole thing feel like a memory you actually had.
