This was shot for Rolling Stone magazine just before their album and fame broke loose. I had the band meet me on a corner in West Hollywood that was near their rehearsal space.-- Timothy White

The light in this shot is incredible—you can feel the West Hollywood corner and the band's raw energy right before everything blew up. I've been staring at it for days, it's got that authentic Rolling Stone-era vibe that you just don't find in modern prints.

The black-and-white grain and that late-80s West Hollywood curb really sell the pre-fame tension—you can almost hear them before the album dropped. Frame arrived clean, though I wish the print came with a bit more information about the shoot.
