"It has to be the horse picture. No CGI...I was telling somebody recently about that shoot, and about how it would take nothing today to superimpose that image and make it work. But the fact that we threw that together overnight and did it for real and how big that friggin horse was, makes it such an iconic, classic image." - Jon Bon Jovi

"This image of Jon Bon Jovi was for the cover of Rolling Stone magazine. I had been waiting in my hotel room in London for the band to decide what day they would come to the studio for the shoot. I had been watching TV waiting for an inspiration for the cover shot, when I saw an ad for this horse from a circus that was in town. The band had just recorded Wanted: Dead or Alive and I thought the horse was a perfect match with the cowboy theme." -- Timothy White

I was a teenager in '88 and this print brings that whole era back. The grain and the way the stage lights catch his jacket feels like you're standing in that London crowd. Framed it in the living room and it's the first thing guests comment on.

I was blown away by the texture in the print—the horse picture looks so raw and unretouched, you can practically feel the film grain from that 1988 shoot. It's already the centerpiece of my living room wall, and every guest asks about it before I even say a word. The authenticity of the photography

Sebastian H. ★★★★★

The print arrived perfectly flat and the detail in that horse shot is unreal—you can see the grain of the film and the sweat on the animal's coat. It’s got this raw, live energy that you just don’t get from a digital repro, and the frame I put it in makes it look like it was shot yesterday.
