In September of 1954, Milton took a series of candid photos of Marilyn. Knowing her unhappiness with her 20th Century Fox contract, Milton convinced Marilyn to come to New York and file a lawsuit against the studio. Milton assured her that he would cover the cost of living, room and board, massages once a week, as well as acting classes.

Chloe ★★★★★

The grain in the photo gives it such an authentic vintage feel, like you're peeking into a private moment. I've got it framed in my study and it sparks a conversation every time someone sees it.

I wasn’t sure how a candid shot from 1954 could feel so intimate, but the way Milton captured Marilyn’s vulnerability in that hotel room really comes through in the print. The paper texture adds a nice vintage feel that suits the era perfectly.
