The energy in this shot is incredible—you can almost hear the chaos of that '73 TV performance. David Johansen's pose and Jerry Nolan's drumming are frozen perfectly in the black-and-white grain. Looks great in my small frame.

The grain of the original black-and-white photo is perfect—it really captures that raw, gritty energy of the Dolls on that TV show set. I’ve been staring at Johnny Thunders’ stance for way too long. Exactly the vibe I wanted for my music room.
