Category: Plushie Dreadfuls

Your new soft companion crafted to honor the lived experience of bipolar I disorder. This plushie captures the emotional landscape of extreme mood shifts, manic highs, depressive lows, and the cycling journey between them. With thoughtful symbolism woven into every stitch, the bunny reflects the complexity of this condition: the masked smiles, the color shifts between impulse and stability, the 24-hour cycle of change, and the abstract struggle of mixed emotional states. Designed by those with direct experience and informed by community voices.

Bipolar I Bunny Set Includes:

1x Super Soft Rabbit - 10 inches from the top of the head to the toes
1x Sturdy Tote Bag - measures 38cm x 33cm (15in x 13in)

 Symbolism:

Positive and shutter eyes for flipped perception, the depressive state seen as the positive to others even though that's not reflected internally.

Split Colors Pink for impulsivity and green for stability

24 hour alchemy symbol for cycling including rapid cycling

Abstract heart for wrestling moods and mixed states

IMPORTANT NOTE Regarding the design of our mental health-related Plushie Dreadfuls. We take the topics of mental health and mental health awareness seriously. That's why our design team only creates plushies related to mental health issues with which they have direct experience. In cases where our team does not have direct experience, we assemble an external team of experts to help guide our creative process. In addition, we use Crowd Design to engage a wide range of voices via platforms like Instagram and Facebook. We gather and respond to feedback from our audience - many of whom have direct experience with the mental health issues we're exploring. And while we strive to represent as many aspects of a particular mental health issue as possible while avoiding stereotypical symptoms, we hope you understand that plush toys as an artistic medium do limit the full expression of a particular issue to those things that can be crafted in fabric and stitching.

Brian ★★★★★

The stitched face on this one really does capture that swing between the manic highs and the low days, which is why I keep it on my desk. The fabric's soft enough to squeeze during a rough afternoon, and honestly it just helps to have something in the room that gets it.

Sebastian J. ★★★★★

Bought this for my sister who was recently diagnosed, and she actually teared up when she saw the two-tone design showing the depressive lows against the manic highs. It's soft enough to actually sleep with, not just sit on a shelf.

Eva ★★★★★

The manic-high side is so bright and colorful it actually makes me smile just looking at it on my shelf. I love that the two halves show the shift so clearly, and the stitching feels sturdy enough for daily cuddling. It’s a comforting little reminder that I’m not alone in this cycle.
