Endometriosis occurs when tissue similar to the lining of the uterus (endometrium) grows outside the uterus. This tissue can develop on various structures within the pelvic region, such as the ovaries, fallopian tubes, the outer surface of the uterus, and the tissues lining the pelvis. In rare cases, it can even spread beyond the pelvic region.

This can be extremely painful and take many years to diagnose before sufferers even know what is going on. We hope this little endometriosis buddy will give you some comfort during hard times.

Keep in mind that all our mental + physical health plushies are by crowd request and crowd designed!

IMPORTANT NOTE Regarding the design of our Plushie Dreadfuls. We take these topics seriously. That's why our design team only creates plushies related to issues with which they have direct experience. In cases where our team does not have direct experience, we assemble an external team of experts to help guide our creative process. In addition, we use Crowd Design to engage a wide range of voices via platforms like Instagram and Facebook. We gather and respond to feedback from our audience - many of whom have direct experience with the issues we're exploring. And while we strive to represent as many aspects of a particular issue as possible while avoiding stereotypical representations, we hope you understand that plush toys as an artistic medium do limit the full expression of a particular issue to those things that can be crafted in fabric and stitching.

      Zoe I. ★★★★★

I’ve had mine for a few weeks now and it’s become my go-to comfort object during flare-ups, the soft fabric is really soothing against my skin. The little uterus and ovary details are stitched on so neatly, it feels like a thoughtful nod to what we go through every day.

      Carter O. ★★★★★

I have stage 4 endo and the little scar details on the rabbit's belly hit me harder than expected. It's soft enough to actually sleep with, not just a shelf plush. Nice to finally own something that says what I go through without me having to explain it.

      Stella V. ★★★★☆

The little uterus patch on its belly is a nice touch—it makes the condition feel seen without being graphic. I just wish the fur was a bit softer for cuddling, but it’s still a comforting little buddy.
