Clevland Clinic says of Maladaptive Daydreaming...

Maladaptive daydreaming is a mental health issue that causes a person to lose themselves in complex daydreams. These daydreams are usually a coping mechanism for other mental health conditions or circumstances. It's common — but not required — for people who have this to have a history of childhood trauma or abuse.

On this adorable plushie's right foot we have the alchemical symbol for "Decompose", "Create" on the left foot, and the symbol "Compose" on the chest. All together they make for a very unstable imagination that creates a new reality before the eyes of the daydreamer.

The mask-like facial features give almost an astronautical appearance, as the maladaptive daydreamer travels far and wide without ever leaving the spot they're standing on.

This dreamy space bunny is ready to come home with you <3

IMPORTANT NOTE Regarding the design of our Plushie Dreadfuls. We take these topics seriously. That's why our design team only creates plushies related to issues with which they have direct experience. In cases where our team does not have direct experience, we assemble an external team of experts to help guide our creative process. In addition, we use Crowd Design to engage a wide range of voices via platforms like Instagram and Facebook. We gather and respond to feedback from our audience - many of whom have direct experience with the issues we're exploring. And while we strive to represent as many aspects of a particular issue as possible while avoiding stereotypical representations, we hope you understand that plush toys as an artistic medium do limit the full expression of a particular issue to those things that can be crafted in fabric and stitching.

      Grace I. ★★★★★

My Maladaptive Daydreaming bunny arrived yesterday and I immediately recognized that distant, worn-out look in its eyes—it’s like it gets me. The lavender fur has a soft, brushed texture that feels comforting to hold during quiet moments. It’s a small, meaningful comfort for when my thoughts get too

      Thomas ★★★★★

The rabbit's fur is incredibly soft, and the weighted beans in its belly make it perfect for hugging when my thoughts get too loud. It’s become my quiet companion during those long, drifting daydreams.

      Benjamin S. ★★★★★

The rabbit sits on my desk and the weight of it in my lap is surprisingly grounding when my head starts drifting off into one of those long daydreams. I didn't expect a plush to actually help me notice when I'm slipping away, but holding something soft gives my hands something to do besides stare at
