Plushie Dreadfuls - Sleep Paralysis Rabbit - Plush Stuffed Animal

You wake up in the middle of the night. You cannot move. You see the stuff of nightmares floating above the bed. But you're not REALLY awake are you? You can't REALLY be seeing this can you?

For some of us, sleep doesn't come easy, and neither does shifting out of the dream state. About 8% of people report having sleep paralysis at some point in their life. Some people even report having an awful sleep paralysis creature sitting on their chest when they open their eyes! Take a shot back at insomnia and sleep paralysis with this snuggly creepy bun set.

Sleep Paralysis Rabbit Features:

• Velcro paws
• Creepy detachable Spider Bun (also with velcro paws!)
• Super Long Ears
• 60cm Ears to Toes ( Spider bun is 26cm from ears to the length of his arms)

Symbolism:

• Scratches on the arms, back, and ears to represent the fear of injury
• Mouth stitched closed to represent the inability to scream or wake
• Gray/purple motif to represent the gloaming hours

IMPORTANT NOTE Regarding the design of our mental health-related Plushie Dreadfuls. We take the topics of mental health and mental health awareness seriously. That's why our design team only creates plushies related to mental health issues with which they have direct experience. In cases where our team does not have direct experience, we assemble an external team of experts to help guide our creative process. In addition, we use Crowd Design to engage a wide range of voices via platforms like Instagram and Facebook. We gather and respond to feedback from our audience - many of whom have direct experience with the mental health issues we're exploring. And while we strive to represent as many aspects of a particular mental health issue as possible while avoiding stereotypical symptoms, we hope you understand that plush toys as an artistic medium do limit the full expression of a particular issue to those things that can be crafted in fabric and stitching.
