Bob Dylan, BBC TV Studios, London, 1965

—— Barrie Wentzell

The grain in the black-and-white photo brings out the texture of his jacket so well it feels like you're sitting at that canteen table too. I've had mine framed for a week and keep noticing new details in the background each time I walk past.

This print captures Dylan in a rare unguarded moment, looking almost shy in that BBC canteen. The story behind the shot—the photographer spotting him while with The Pretty Things—makes it feel like a secret piece of history. It's already the most interesting piece in my living room.
