Velotric Nomad 2X

Front and rear air suspension on 26 x 4.0 in fat tires defines the Velotric Nomad 2X, built for riders who leave the pavement for trails, sand, snow and campsites. It also has 105 Nm of torque, a 254 kg maximum load and a choice of step-thru or high-step frames.

• Full air suspension: a 120 mm adjustable air fork with lockout and a DNM rear air shock giving 80 mm of travel at the rear wheel.
• Rear hub motor: rated 750 W with a 1400 W peak and 105 Nm of torque, plus a throttle and switchable torque or cadence sensing.
• 801.6 Wh removable battery: 48V 16.7Ah with Samsung/LG 21700 cells, good for up to 121 km on pedal assist or 80 km on throttle by the brand's figure.
• Stopping and shifting: Tektro hydraulic disc brakes (203 mm rotor up front, 180 mm at the rear) and Shimano 8-speed gearing, 11-40T.
• Speed: assist is set to 32 km/h out of the box; a 45 km/h setting is available where permitted, by the brand's figure.
• Hauling: a rear rack rated for about 54 kg on a bike that weighs 36 kg.
